I’m Verónica. I am from Ecuador, but I have lived in the USA for 24 years.
I teach Spanish language courses from beginner to advanced levels. And I want to invite you to take Spanish classes with me!
My teaching philosophy is highly communicative.
I adapt materials and activities to students’ ages, needs, proficiency levels, and learning pace.
With more than 20 years of teaching experience, I have developed my expertise through ongoing learning from colleagues, scholarly research, classroom practice, and the insights of my students. I have taught learners at the undergraduate, adult education, and high school levels, adapting my approach to meet the needs of diverse student populations.

My approach:
Every learner is different, so every set of lessons looks a little different. But a few things stay constant:
- We speak from day one. Speaking is the most difficult part of learning a language, so it is important to start speaking from day 1. My methodology is communicative.
- Your goals set the course. A trip to Buenos Aires, a Native Spanish speaker loved one or even a AP exam need very different preparation. I can build a class around your goals.
- Mistakes are welcomed. My classroom is a place where you can make mistakes because this is the way we learn and remember. Creating a comfortable enviroment for the student is at top most important.
- Language is culture. Languages and cultures are inseparable, so we can explore both at once. I used multidisciplinary approaches to teach grammar while you also learn culture.
